Panel: Make a Federal CASE Out of It: A Discussion of How The New CASE Act Works and How It’s Working

The CASE Act was passed in 2020 and established The Copyright Claims Board to provide litigants with an avenue to resolve copyright claims under $30,000. Many practitioners, however, are still in the dark about what The CASE Act was intended to address and how proceedings before The Copyright Claims Board work.

This panel will contextualize the necessity of The CASE Act, how proceedings before the Copyright Claims Board work and provide insights into the process.
